Student Advising
Academic advising in psychology provides individual assistance in establishing goals and making decisions regarding your academic career at UCR. The Academic Advisors and the faculty will provide up-to-date information about academic rules and policies and follow up about individual concerns. Academic advising will also attempt to assist with individual challenges, respecting each student and ensuring confidentiality.
It is the student's responsibility to keep current about college expectations and assessment of progress to degree, but there are a number of student services and campus programs to address your needs. In addition to seeking academic advising, students should study the General Catalog and other resources to learn basic academic rules, regulations, and standards of excellence.
Current UCR students can schedule advising appointments at http://www.mypsychadvising.ucr.edu.
